About Us

Our Story

The Wagga Recovery Hub was established to meet the growing need for alcohol and drug support in Wagga Wagga and across the Murrumbidgee region.

We opened our doors in December 2024 to create a safe, welcoming space for people affected by alcohol or other drugs — as well as for their families, carers and the broader community.

Our goal is to reduce the impact of alcohol and other drugs by promoting connection, empowerment, and hope for lasting change.

Our Mission & Values

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow and belong. Our work is guided by five key values:

Compassion

- treating every person with kindness and respect

Empowerment

 – supporting people to make their own choices and take the lead in their recovery

Inclusion

– providing a welcoming space for all backgrounds and experiences

Harm Reduction

– promoting practical strategies to stay safe and supported

Hope

 – believing that recovery is possible for everyone

The Hub

Our Team

Our team is made up of AOD Care Coordinators, Family & Domestic Violence Care Navigators and Peer Treatment Support Workers.

Each member brings professional knowledge, understanding and care — many also bring lived experience, offering a level of empathy and connection that’s hard to find elsewhere.

You’re not alone —
we’re here when you’re ready.
