Our AOD Care Coordinators provide personalised assessments, referrals, and ongoing support. We can help you:
- Access withdrawal or rehabilitation services
- Connect with the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)
- Receive safe access to Naloxone with advice and information
- Create a relapse prevention plan
- Understand the impact of substance use through education and guidance
We take a holistic, person-centred and trauma-informed approach to all supports, using a harm minimisation framework and brief interventions to help you move forward safely and confidently.
Case Management & Care Planning
We’ll work with you to set achievable goals and develop a plan that fits your life.
This may include:
- Individual case management or group sessions
- Setting treatment goals (3–6 months)
- Matching you with services that meet your needs
- Regular check-ins, in person or by phone
- Advocacy and ongoing support to keep things on track
Peer Treatment Support — Here for You
Our Peer Treatment Support Workers, trained by CAHMA, combine lived experience with professional training to walk beside you — no judgment, just support.
We can help with:
- Setting and tracking goals
- Connecting with friendly, local services
- Booking withdrawal or rehab programs
- Supported referrals (we can attend appointments with you)
- Advocacy to help you navigate systems
- Regular phone or text check-ins — at your pace

Family & Carer Support
Alcohol and drug use doesn’t just affect the individual — it affects families, too.
We provide support and referrals for family members and carers, including:
- Relationship and family counselling services
- Advocacy and guidance with protection orders
- Support to access behaviour change programs
- Assistance with the Victims Support Scheme
We’re here to help families heal together, with compassion and understanding.
Family & Domestic Violence Support
Our Family & Domestic Violence Worker offers confidential support for anyone affected by violence or abuse.
We can help with:
- Goal-setting and identifying immediate needs
- Risk assessments and safety planning, including escape strategies
- Referrals to essential services like housing, counselling, legal aid and court support
- Guidance on protection orders and victims’ rights
- Advocacy and education to help you make informed choices

Culturally Safe Aboriginal Services
Through our partnership with RivMed, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients can access culturally safe, holistic support.
This includes:
- One-to-one support and case management
- Weekly Yarning Groups at the Hub
- Referrals into RivMed’s culturally safe health and wellbeing services
- Outreach and community support in Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas
